Security Officer Refresher

Who is this course for?

This course is for Security Officers who hold an SIA licence that is due to be renewed after the 01st April 2025. This course is mandatory to renew an SIA Security Officer licence. This course does NOT the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification. To sit this course you will require a suitable first aid qualification with at least 12 months left until the expiry date from the date of this course.

Pre-requisites

• Must be aged 18 or over
• You must have a Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry.
• A minimum of Level 1 English

The training consists of:

• Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
• Principles of terror threat awareness
• Know how to conduct effective search procedures
• Understand how to keep vulnerable people safe

• Practical Assessments
